As some of you may well know International Women's
Day was born at time of social turbulence and crisis, originally called
International Working Women's Day, is marked on March 8
every year. In different parts of the world, the focus of the celebrations
ranges from general celebration of respect, appreciation and love towards women
to a celebration for women's economic, political and social achievements.1928 was the first celebration in Australia and
we’re still going strong into 2013.
There are still some tickets left and remember if you want a dirty weekend or just simply want to get away : ) we do have dinner/show/accommodation deals. Just ring The Clarendon Guesthouse - Katoomba on 47821322. Tix $20 - dinner/show option too.
