Well I'm 6 weeks away from popping out the ultimate creation and things are starting to wind down for me gig wise over November. I wanted to share some photo's from our annual band show at the Oatley Music Festival that was on a few weeks ago and let you know what else is going on before I dissappear for a couple of months. A big thank you to Lindsay, Chris and Stewart, we had tons of fun with a beer afterwards to celebrate : ) Also a huge thanks to Vicki and Craig who took lots of photos.
We've already been re-booked for the festival next October and the band nominates 'VICKI MEARNS' as babysitter : ) Congratulations Vicki!
In other News:
I've just about completed all my vocals and guitar parts for the new album to be released next year and the next stage is to add all the backing vocals and stews guitar parts. I wanted to share a song from this pending album. It's only the first mix called 'If We Ever Mend'. A song about learning when to let go of a dying relationship.
2015 Tour: Next years tour bookings are underway, with our first show booked in Sydney yay! If anybody wants to host a house concert over our tour between Sydney and Noosa please be in touch, things are going to be a bit difficult with a baby onboard and finding people to care for Ellie while we're playing, any support would be fantastic. Freddy the Dog: As you know Freddy has been our tour buddy and best pal for over 11 years. He's getting old and not so flexible these days. The poor thing has broke his cruciate ligament, which is quite common in dogs and he's having an X-ray today and operation in the next couple of weeks. He's been fasting since last night for his X-Ray today and he's getting pretty edgy, trying to find any morsel of food in the house.....Anyway, wish him luck!
